The ascent of Megan Thee Stallion from local Houston artist to Grammy Award-winning rapper will be chronicled in a feature-length documentary dropping later this month. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words will be released on Prime Video on Oct. 31. Tackling subjects like grief and the pressure of success, Variety adds the project will offer “unprecedented access to the multi-faceted woman behind the persona.” It’ll be a busy couple of weeks for Megan Thee Stallion to end the month. In addition to the doc’s debut, she’s also busy preparing for 2024’s “Hottieween” at Chicago’s United Center on Oct. 31 in a concert she promised will be “bigger than ever.”

Nvidia shares jumped nearly 3% during Monday morning trading above $138, which tops its previous high of $135.58 in June. In turn, the chipmaker company’s market cap increased to $3.4 trillion, just slightly behind Apple’s $3.53 trillion valuation. Nvidia says a catalyst for the uptick is its graphic processing units being purchased in large amounts by the likes of Microsoft, Meta, Google, and Amazon to construct computers en masse for their advanced AI capabilities.

Lewis Hamilton and his +44 label are dropping a new capsule ahead of this weekend’s Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin inspired by ‘90s motocross style. When it comes to streaming, The Weeknd is in a league of his own. Not only has his new single “After Hours” already reached 1 billion streams on Spotify, TMZ also reported that he shattered his own record as the artist with the most monthly listeners on the audio platform, amassing over 120.5 million. The Grammy Award winner became the first musician to surpass 100 million monthly listeners in February 2023, with Taylor Swift joining him as the only other artist to eclipse the mark.

Ex-NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski is joining his former New England Patriots teammate Julian Edelman and Superdigital founder Assaf Swissa as a partner in the entertainment studio Nuthouse Sports, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported Monday. The dynamic duo will also co-host a new program called Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules, scheduled to debut Oct. 15. Per THR, Edelman and Gronk will be joined by retired NFL players “discussing what makes them special, reliving their most memorable performances, and sharing stories that should probably stay in the locker room.”

The MLB Division Series averaged an impressive 3.564 million viewers this postseason, becoming the most-watched divisional round in seven years and up 14% from 2023. Overall, postseason viewership is up 18% compared to last season, and the 3.332 million average viewers is its best mark since the new league format was unveiled in 2022. Additionally, Saturday’s Game 5 of the ALDS between the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers was the most-watched Division Series day game on any network in 17 years.

A new documentary on The Beatles, produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi, is heading to Disney+. Per Deadline, Beatles ’64 will focus on The Fab Four’s first visit to America and will include never-before-seen footage of the English band. The project will also feature rare footage of their live performances over the course of their trip stateside, including their debut appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show and first-ever American gig at the Coliseum in Washington, DC. Dropping on Nov. 29, the film corresponds with the Nov. 22 release of all seven American Beatles albums in a vinyl reissue collection called The Beatles: 1964 U.S. Albums in Mono.

In a Monday statement, Fox Corp.’s Fox Deportes and NBCUniversal’s Telemundo confirmed they will each produce separate broadcasts of Super Bowl LIX in 2025. While Fox has the rights to broadcast football’s biggest game next February, this move allows NBCU to capitalize on garnering a new audience and securing advertisers. Per the release, this partnership “will provide the broadest Spanish-language distribution in the United States for any Super Bowl in history.” Fox Deportes became the first network to air the Super Bowl in Spanish in the United States in 2015.
